Theodora Chaspari

Theodora Chaspari is an Assistant Professor at the Computer Science & Engineering Department in Texas A&M University. She is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award, Dean of Engineering Excellence Award (Assistant Professor), TEES Young Faculty Fellow Award, USC Annenberg Graduate Fellowship, and USC Women in Science and Engineering Merit Fellowship. Papers co-authored with her students have been nominated and won awards at the ASC 2021, ACM BuildSys 2019, IEEE ACII 2019, ASCE i3CE 2019, and IEEE BSN 2018 conferences. She is serving as an Editor of the Elsevier Computer Speech & Language, and in various conference organization committees (ACM ICMI 2023/2020/2018, ACM IUI 2021, ACM KDD 2022, IEEE ACII 2022/2021/2019/2017, IEEE BSN 2018).

Jinwoo Kim is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Texas A&M University’s Department of Computer Science & Engineering and HUBBS lab.  Jinwoo’s research interests include smart city digital twin for built environment and infrastructure management. He is currently working on the research project: Digital Twin City for Age-friendly Communities – Crowd-biosensing of Environmental Distress for Older Adults.

Projna Paromita (Psyche)

Projna Paromita is pursuing PhD in Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. She has achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2017. Her research interest focuses on physiological/biomedical signal processing, wearable technology, and human-computer interaction.

Ehsanul Haque Nirjhar

Ehsanul Haque Nirjhar is pursuing his PhD in Computer Science at Texas A&M University. He completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He has been working at HUBBS Lab since Spring 2019. His research interest revolves around the application of signal processing and machine learning.

Kexin (Kevin) Feng

Kexin (Kevin) Feng is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in computer science at Texas A&M University. Inspired by the magic of computer science, Kexin is always ready to learn new things and face challenges mainly in data mining and deep learning. His research interests lie in machine learning and transfer learning for emotion recognition.

Abdullah Aman

Md Nazmus Sakib

M.S. in Construction Science, Texas A&M University, 2019

Md Nazmus Sakib is pursuing his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering at Texas A&M University. He completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and master’s studies in Construction Management from Texas A&M University. He is a research assistant in Connected Informatics and Built Environment Research (CIBER) Lab and collaborating with the HUBBS Lab as part of this Ph.D. studies. His research interest includes wearable technology, signal processing, operator’s safety, drone simulation, virtual reality, and application of machine/deep learning.

Raquel Yupanqui

Raquel Yupanqui is currently pursuing her PhD in computer science at Texas A&M University. She completed her undergraduate studies in computer science at the University of North Georgia. Her research interests include machine learning and physiological data signal processing.

Damilola (Dami) Agunbiade

Damilola (Dami) Agunbiade is a pre-med psychology major with a minor in biology from Houston Texas, originally from Nigeria. She aspires to be a pediatrician someday and on campus she is involved with Fish camp, Texas A&M women lacrosse, Texas A&M legacies and a PreMed organization. In her free time she loves running or learning more about the fascinating world of AI. She loves working at the HUBBS lab because she gets to help contribute to the future of AI studies.

Kiara Berry

Kiara Berry is a senior Computer Science major and Statistics minor from Dallas, TX. Her research interests are Data Science and Machine Learning. She has worked at the Air Force as a data scientist intern and conducted research at Rice University working with DS/ML to improve medical CGM devices. Kiara enjoys playing tennis, strength training, reading, and traveling in her free time.

Callie Feierabend

Callie Feierabend will be graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology B.S. and a minor in Leadership from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She is very interested in Psychology and research. She is thrilled to be working in the HUBBS Lab to further expand her knowledge on how to conduct research appropriately. Callie is excited about learning and is currently in the process of pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology. She hopes to help a lot of people with autism, and/or someday conduct her own research.

Vinesh Ravuri

Vinesh Ravuri is pursuing his Bachelor’s in Computer Science with an emphasis on Statistics at Texas A&M University. Vinesh is currently working in the HUBBS laboratory under Dr.Chaspari. Vinesh is always eager to take on new challenges and expand his knowledge. His research interests include Machine Learning and Data Science.

Anjali Segu is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. She has a passion for graphic design and computer science intersections. She has worked at NebulaData and PwC in software engineering and marketing. Anjali enjoys baking, watercolor painting, and traveling in her free time.

Yiming (Amelia) Wang

Yiming (Amelia) Wang (she/her/hers) is a third-year undergraduate student studying at Texas A&M University. She is pursuing a B.S. in Psychology and has a minor in Sociology. Amelia joined the HUBBS Lab in Summer 2022 in order to further explore her passion for human-computer interaction. Meanwhile, she is also working towards graduate school for a degree in HCI. Her future goal is to improve people’s daily life with knowledge from psychology and other related fields. In her free time, Amelia is a member of TAMU Hong Dance Society on campus. She enjoys creating art, dancing, cooking, reading, and spending warm afternoons with friends.
